28 BLACK becomes main sponsor of Austria Klagenfurt

Luxembourg/Berlin, April 8, 2022. This connection is full of energy! 28 BLACK, already a premium partner since the start of the championship round, will become the new main sponsor of SK Austria Klagenfurt at the start of the 2022/23 Bundesliga season. The lettering of the energy drink will thus move from the back to the chest of the violets' jersey. In addition, the brand, which belongs to the Splendid Drinks AG group of companies based in Luxembourg, has secured the naming rights to the stadium. Coach Peter Pacult's team will play its home games in the 28 BLACK Arena in the future. The contract initially runs until 2025.

We also see this attitude in the management of the club, which has recently developed rapidly, and not just in terms of sport. It offers us a great platform to expand our sales activities in Austria," emphasizes Günter Thiel, CEO of Splendid Drinks and 28 BLACK.

The expansion of the existing cooperation will be duly celebrated: On Sunday, the two partners are inviting people to the 28 BLACK fan party in Waidmannsdorf as part of Austria Klagenfurt's home game against double winners and league leaders RB Salzburg. Another protagonist around the stadium is the European League of Football, whose championship game of the 2022 season will take place on September 25th at Wörthersee in the 28 BLACK Arena.
